Teeth Whitening Kits
If you want to get whiter teeth then there are plenty of options available to you on the market. For example you could look at getting some sort of whitening toothpaste or gel, or even go for laser whitening in the dentist’s chair. The problem is that there is a wide range of prices for thee different treatments and it can be difficult to know which teeth whitening kits to go for.
The simple fact is that home teeth whitening kits are never going to be as good as going and getting your teeth whitening by a dentist. Not only will the dentist e able to do a better job, but they will also be able to do it quicker and make it last for longer. This is because your dentist will be able to use a higher concentration of peroxide bleaching agent than it would be safe for you to use at home. However it is important to remember that going to a dentist for tooth whitening is often an expensive option, although it will almost certainly yield the best results.
If you do decide to go for at home teeth whitening kits then you need to be aware that you won’t get perfect results. For example some teeth trays will only work the best if you have absolutely straight teeth. If you don’t, then some of the cheaper options will do the whitening in such a way that your teeth will not be evenly whitened which obviously isn’t a good look! You can get more professional teeth whitening kits, but again they are more expensive and won’t be able to provide as good whitening as you would get in the dentist’s chair.
Safety is an important issue, and in general I would say make sure you ask your dentist before using any sort of whitening method. Some of the methods on the internet are completely wrong and could be damaging for example. Also, if you do use teeth whitening kits over the counter, then make sure that you follow the instructions exactly. Leaving the bleaching agent on for longer will not make your teeth whiter but it may be more damaging!
Overall there are lots of options when it comes to whitening your teeth but it always comes back to the fact that getting your dentist to do it is the safest, quickest and most effective way of getting whiter teeth.
