- Now the important bit. The whitening gel is put onto the teeth and the laser shone on it to activate the cleaning. Usually this process will take about an hour.
After the procedure your dentist will then show you what the difference between the colours before and after are. Usually the procedure is quite straight forward.
The laser tooth whitening cost can sometimes be quite high, but if you are desperate for whiter teeth then it is definitely something to consider as getting your teeth whitened in a dentist chair is much more effective. The cost of laser tooth whitening is a lot, but the results are often very impressive too, although you should make sure with your dentist exactly what you will be getting for your treatment before you commit to it.
